We are Auckland based busy retail store. We are looking for assistant store manager to support manager in day-to-day operations.
Location: Auckland
Duration: Permanent fulltime 32 hours per week
Days: Monday to Sunday as per roster
Wage Rate: $27 - $30 per hour
Tasks include but are not limited to: -
- Supervise and manage store in the absence of the manager
- Provide input and ideas on new products and customer requirements
- Manage and supervise stock as per their demand and ensure adequate stock is maintained
- Accurately handling cash and other transection when on duty
- Maintain and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
- Ensure the food standard meet with legal requirement
- Providing input to manager on sales promotion and display plans
- Ensure products are displayed, labelled and priced correctly
- Regular communication with manager and staffs
- Meeting operational expectation
- Handling any general complaints and queries
- Help manager to preparing staff roster
- Ensure the store is tidy and clean all the time
- Perform any other job responsibility if requested by the store manager
Person Specification:
- Minimum 1 year experience in similar role
- Must be able to work on weekends and public holiday
- Must be able to work extra hours if required
- Pro-active, positive, enthusiastic, energetic, responsible and friendly
- Provide positive, constructive feedback for team members
- Passionate about providing Great Service
