About the role:

Experience the beauty of nature and make a real impact as a Ranger with Parks Victoria. Based at Wail, this role offers a unique blend of field and office tasks, allowing you to contribute to the preservation of our beloved parks and natural reserves. You will have the opportunity to visit some of Victoria's most stunning destinations, such as Mt Arapiles-Tooan State Park and Little Desert National Park. As a Ranger, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including the maintenance of visitor facilities and creating unforgettable experiences for park visitors. Key responsibilities

  • Ability to demonstrate practical/mechanical skills
  • Preparing interpretive materials
  • Manage group bookings for park visitors
  • Possess strong problem-solving abilities
  • Maintain accurate records of camp bookings through the Park Stay platform
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to visitor inquiries
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of visitor facilities.

Key Requirements:

  • Possession of a valid full driver's license.
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills.
  • Successful completion of a Police check and Children safety check
  • Availability to work on weekends.
