The Fun Description:
This position provides administrative support to HR leadership and team as well as serves as the first point of contact for guests and team members at the Store Support Center. Execution of clerical work as well as administrative and business detail to support the Human Resources department.

A Day in the life…

You are the first person to welcome visitors and employees to the Store Support Center. As such, you:
Greet on-site guests, determine the nature of business and announce visitors as needed.
Frequently interact with members of the Store Support Center, field executives and senior management teams both at Dave & Buster’s and Main Event.
Manage the name plate, employee power card and house account card process; create order files, contact the vendor, pick up cards, load card numbers, prepare cards for shipment and resolve any issues.
Process all employee documentation through the document imaging system daily by accurately assigning each document to the correct employee.
Provide administrative support to all HR systems including password resets and reports when required.
Provide regular communication in response to donation requests and employment verifications.
Compose, prepare, and maintain correspondence, reports, and other documents including PowerPoint presentations, organizational charts, and spreadsheets as needed.
Schedule a variety of standard and ad hoc meetings.
Organize and maintain file system, file correspondence and other records.
And, finally, because Dave & Buster's is so focused on guest service, your job includes the ever-popular "Other Duties As Assigned."

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, REQUIRED SKILLS:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Two-year college degree preferred.
Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail with a high degree of punctuality
Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
Proven ability to work effectively both individually and on teams.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
Ability to write simple correspondence
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions and problem solve with a few concrete variables in standardized situations

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Non-traditional work environment. We have games in the lobby, a billiard table in the break room and we get everyone together quarterly where we relax and catch up over ice cold “refreshments”.
