Mattel Australia are seeking a proactive and passionate Receptionist to join the team! This is a varied role that drives wonder in childhood through the provision of office support for the wider team, in both reception duties and office coordination.
The right candidate for this role will have previous experience in an office coordination/reception capacity, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and a strong ability to multi-task.
This is a part time role working 3 days per week, from Tuesday – Thursday. Hours within these days can be managed flexibly, e.g. operating across the hours of 9am – 3pm or 9am – 4pm dependent on the successful candidate.
As a Receptionist you will be responsible for:
- Being the first point of contact for face to face and phone enquiries, meeting and greeting any guests who arrive, and managing the phone line.
- Managing the deliveries/mail – Inbound and outbound. Please note this role will manage a high volume of deliveries.
- Ensuring that the reception area and meeting rooms are kept tidy.
- Supporting the coordination of team events, and planning/coordinating catering where required.
- Ensuring the kitchen is stocked and kept clean.
- Ordering supplies and ensure the stationary cupboard is kept clean.
- Supporting the coordination of company travel.
- Raising Purchase Orders for reception and managers as required.
- Ensuring the office is OH&S compliant.
- Completion of a VCE.
- Relevant experience in a reception/office coordination role.
- Excellent interpersonal skills; confident in your ability foster internal and external relationships.
- Ability to foresee possible obstacles and source solutions efficiently.
- Strong ability to multi-task, prioritise and make quick decisions to drive outcomes.
- Computer literate including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.
- Able to work independently.
