Roles & Responsibilities:
Including but not limited to:
· Owns the Health and Safety system of the organization.
· Drive and grow the Health and Safety Culture within the organization.
· Ensure Health and Safety compliance for company.
· Developing, implementing and improving the health and safety plans, programs and procedures within the organization.
· Ensuring compliance with relevant health and safety regulation.
· Identifying and implementing OHS-related training needs in the workplace.
· Conducting safety inspections and risk assessments.
· Investigating workplace incidents.
· Reporting on OHS related activities.
Occupational Health and Safety
· At least 2 years experience.
· Industry references as OHS Safety Officer position.
· Good understanding of the NOSA, OHS system essential.
· Must have knowledge of the ISO4500:2018 standard. (OHSA 18001)
· Knowledge of the ISO 19011:2018 will be an advantage.
· SAMTRAC or smilar qualification.
