We are looking for a Sales Manager for our Life-Cycle Services to be on the front line to co-create with our customer’s tailored solutions for Lifecycle Projects.

You will be a natural solution solver and a good negotiator, you are a motivated self-starter who will create solutions in our Exhaust treatment teams to develop lifecycle solutions to fit our customers’ needs.
You reach to deliver value to the customer to drive solutions that answer their issues and effectively translate their needs with our technical teams.
For this position, ideally, you will be based in Finland, but we will also consider locations such as Cyprus, Germany, Greece, Norway, or Poland.
As a Sales Manager, your work will focus on these responsibilities:
- Lead and/or participate in sales projects within your assigned responsibility area, ensuring effective progress reporting to relevant stakeholders.
- Develop and execute action plans to achieve sales targets, demonstrating decisiveness and action orientation.
- Maintain and enhance existing customer relationships, delivering outstanding service and support throughout the life cycle.
- Identify and cultivate relationships with potential customers, showcasing your exceptional networking and relationship-building skills.
- Organise and actively participate in sales meetings with customers, effectively communicating Wärtsilä's value propositions.
- Take ownership of forecasting sales volumes and costs within your defined responsibility area, contributing to the overall business strategy.
To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a natural inclination for building and nurturing relationships, and good collaboration and teamwork skills. You enjoy engaging with others and are comfortable interacting with various stakeholders.
- Experience working with sales cycle order values from 100.000€ - 1.000.000 €.
- Ability to work autonomously and think creatively to create solutions.
- Key account management experience, front sales experience, or technical knowledge in the industry.
- You possess an innovative mindset and a demonstrated ability to think outside the box. You thrive on developing unique value propositions for customers, moving beyond existing solutions, and exploring new opportunities.
- A passion for your work, travel, and flexible hours, might be required.
