Administrative Assistant, Human Resources & Legal [Netherlands]


 

Overview

The Administrative Assistant for HR and Legal is responsible for providing administrative support to both the Vice President of Human Resources and the Legal Department. This position requires exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, the ability to maintain confidentiality in handling sensitive matters, and demands a high level of professionalism and discretion.

Responsibilities

  • Perform administrative duties, including but not limited to, word processing, filing, calendar management, travel arrangements, and mail handling for both HR and Legal Departments.
  • Maintain and organize employment files, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Process and manage highly confidential information related to HR and legal matters.
  • Assist in arranging and coordinating meetings, including scheduling, preparing materials, and taking minutes.
  • Manage invoices and department expenses, ensuring accuracy and adherence to budgets.
  • Contribute to various projects and tasks as assigned by HR and Legal Department leaders.
  • Collaborate with HR team members on specific projects and events.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field, with little to some experience in a similar administrative role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365.
  • Fluency in English language.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to effectively prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Intermediate financial and analytical skills are required.
  • A customer service-oriented mindset with a proactive, hands-on attitude.
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise good judgment, maintain confidentiality, and handle sensitive information.
  • Displays a professional, respectful, cooperative, and courteous work ethic.
  • This role requires versatility, excellent multitasking abilities, and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of both the HR and Legal Departments.
  • Proactive and adaptable with a willingness to learn and take on new tasks.
