The position
We are looking for a new colleague to help us add more fuel to our exciting roadmap ahead of us. We are on an ambitious journey of rapidly expanding our production facilities combined with an ambitious IT business strategy to support this journey.
As IT Responsible, you will be in charge of one or more IT systems and associated infrastructure to support our production area. You will be responsible for keeping the systems operational and in compliance with both Novo Nordisk and health authorities’ requirements. You will communicate and collaborate closely with many colleagues both internally in the department but also with our central IT organization.
Stable and efficient IT systems are essential for us to develop and deliver products to our patients.
In this position, you will work both with practical, hands-on tasks such as:
- Updating or developing system design documents (e.g. Functional Specification, Design Specification), Standard Operating Procedures and guidelines for the system operational processes, as well as maintaining system documentation in Service Now
- Working with incident and deviation management, preparation of change requests and troubleshooting on the IT systems and infrastructure, including Virtual environment and network
- IT security management (e.g. implementing system hotfixes, patches and anti-malware)
- Continuity management (e.g. monitoring of backups and recovery)
- Life cycle management (e.g. system upgrades, hardware upgrades)
- System and infrastructure management (e.g. Windows servers, databases, network, configuration and performance monitoring).
On top of that, you will drive implementation of infrastructure changes and ensure testing according to requirements. You will also perform annual user reviews.
We work with various technologies such as SCADA systems and LMES / PAS-X system, and you will be provided with formal and on-the-job training in these technologies. Therefore, prior experience with these systems is not required, though it will be an advantage.
Qualifications
To be considered for this position, we expect you to:
- Hold at least a bachelor’s degree within IT, electronic engineering or any other relevant field
- Possess a previous experience with IT System Management and/or automation as well as server and infrastructure operations (patching, performance monitoring, network understanding for example)
- Have a great passion for working with IT and system operation, and a natural curiosity for new technologies and opportunities.

It is important that you ensure and initiate tasks even if they have not been assigned to you. Finally, we expect you to take responsibility for your own and the team's goals.

About the department
We are a diverse team composed of 14 IT professionals. We are responsible for areas including IT infrastructure, system management, IT security and digitalization which includes BI & Analytics and AI/ML solutions. In short, all aspects within IT & Digitalization initiatives are driven out of our team.
We are part of DMS which is overall responsible for the global end-to-end supply chain of Novo Nordisk, both internal and external production via our CMO’s (Contract manufacture).
