JOB DESCRIPTION
Position: Typist
Position Summary:
Reporting to the Manager of Operations, the Typist must demonstrate a strong command of the working language (French, English or both), possess a writing ability above the average, and must be detail-oriented regarding grammar and spelling. The person who holds this position will write comprehensive and detailed reports on employment verifications and references, always to the highest quality standards of the industry.
Responsibilities:
To provide customer service in accordance with company standards and in adherence to the specifications of the service contracts, the Typist shall:
- Prepare partial and final reports on results for education audits, employments or references for the client by using the in-house software for processing records
- Ensure the quality of results provided to clients of the Company and report any deficiencies or lack of information on the results or other data of the Company and participate in the resolution of these problems
- Observe the specific standards and procedures of the Company's customer's reports
Required Qualifications:
Knowledge and Education
- Degree of a college/high school recognized in Canada
- Typing speed - 60 words / minute minimum
- Minimum of 90% in the written language test (in all languages)
- Bilingual, English and French, an asset
Experience, Skills and Abilities
- Work experience in a similar role (6 months to 1 year)
- Exceptional attention to the detail and strong organizational skills
- Dedication to providing quality service to the Company's customers
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications
- Tenacity/goal driven to meet the policy requirements
- Ability to manage work independently and demonstrate a professional attitude
