Finance Manager - Sales Systems- Open to All UK/EU Sites [Netherlands]

We are looking for a Finance Manager - Sales System to act as the interface between the Digital SRM program, deployment, and live markets, which covers key finance responsibilities during the market’s deployment (including pre-feasibility assessment) as well as after go-live support to ensure that knowledge, skills, and expertise reside within the local market. As the Finance Manager, you will also be responsible for product ownership of innovation initiatives in the DSRM finance space. The role reports to the Global D SRM Business Program Manager (Eugeny Zabrodchenko).

What are we looking for?

  • Experience in Finance (Trade Spend management experience will be an advantage) and related systems (ATLAS, VF, XTel, etc.) and processes.
  • Experience in change management (challenging the status quo).
  • Project management experience.
  • Excellent communication skills - can translate between business and technical/DT.
  • Fast learner, agile, and comfortable coping with change.
  • Desirable to have experience in business application implementation.

What will be your key responsibilities?

During Market Deployment

  • Review the As-Is and To-Be processes for new developments to be executed by Mars IS and vendor partners and drive the appropriate changes with the business, Mars IS or vendor, to ensure compliance with global D SRM processes, while finding the right balance to address local markets requirements.
  • Drive empowerment of local and regional finance and demand associates by performing knowledge transfer, upskilling, embedding in finance community, and ensuring localize documentation is in place.
  • Implement the ongoing Digital SRM program by acting as a financial process expert and lead to countries adopting the TPM process.

After Market Deployment

  • Be an escalation point for the global support team, local or regional key users on functional process issues and support the upskilling of new market key users when appropriate.
  • Perform market diagnostic that reviews local roles & responsibilities and ways of working, identify opportunity areas, and provide recommendations and expertise to close and create efficiencies within the market.
  • Partner with local markets on assessing and documenting potential enhancements and ensuring that requests are driving true value for Mars Inc.
  • Govern market-driven change requests impacting financial processes/controls by partnering with Mars DT, Mars Governance team, and Vendor partners during the design and build phases.

Functional Ownership

  • Consult/partner with Global Controls, Global Finance, and Internal Audit teams to ensure markets and solutions are in compliance with Mars Best/Golden practices.
  • Ensure all global program documentation is maintained (accruals, approvals, payments, etc.) and enhanced when appropriate.
  • Support release cycles by running stand-up meetings, providing test scripts, and driving market testing to ensure timely delivery of capabilities.
  • Support the Digital SRM Program Manager, Digital SRM BI FE in the implementation of the SRM vision in MARS.
  • Responsible for knowledge transfer on the process and technical details related to FI (Accruals, Claims) and data transfer within the DSRM ecosystem.
  • Led and facilitate Digital SRM Finance forums (global/regional) which best practices, roles and responsibilities, and ways of working sharing cross-segment.
  • Assess current processes and technology and investigate/pilot/implement new processes, tools, and standards which drive efficiency improvements and value for the local units.
  • Support the countries in their preparation and adoption of the TPM financial process through organizing meetings/workshops and attending the market and vendor-led workshops for design thinking, discussion, scoping, and local process assessment documentation vs global template.
