As an AWS DevOps Engineer at Brainr, you will be integral to our team, contributing to the creation, testing, and maintenance of our infrastructure. We're looking for individuals with a deep understanding of AWS services like ECS, ECR, RDS, Open Search, Elastic Cache, SNS, and SQS. Proficiency with Jenkins and a strong grasp of networking are also key requirements for this role.
Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and manage continuous delivery systems and methodologies on AWS.
Automate security controls, governance processes, and compliance validation.
Deploy monitoring, metrics, and logging systems on AWS.
Develop systems that are scalable and self-healing on the AWS platform.
Manage tools to automate operational processes.
Work in tandem with the development team to incorporate new deployment processes.
Utilize Jenkins for automated build, test, and deployment pipelines.
Harness AWS RDS for database instance creation and management.
A strong understanding of Open Search, Elastic Cache, SNS, and SQS services is highly valued.
Maintain network security and high availability through managing Virtual Private Clouds (VPCs), subnets, load balancers, and security groups.

Requirements:
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer in a scalable AWS environment.
- Strong scripting skills (e.g., Python, Bash).
- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer certification would be a plus.
