JOB SUMMARY AND KEY JOB RESULTS
The Foundation Dentist is responsible for delivering dental services to employees, students and patients.
Key job results include quality of services and customer satisfaction.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Arranges patients’ treatment schedule.
- Treats dental problems of employees, students and patients.
- Analyzes patient’s complaints or needs.
- Presents solution or procedure to the patient.
- Prepares equipment and instruments following standard sterilization techniques.
- Performs treatment procedures.
- Maintains patient’s dental record.
- Prepares and issues Payment Form.
- Recommends requirements for dental equipment and supplies as well as requirements for maintenance of equipment.
- Prepares Monthly and Annual Reports.
- Attends relevant conferences and conventions to upgrade knowledge.
- Performs other related functions assigned by the superiors.
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS
Educational Qualification
- BS Dentistry Graduate
- Licensed/Board Passer
- Units in Master’s Degree
Experience
- At least 3 years’ experience in general dentist
- Have at least 1-year subspecialty course
- Member of the Philippine Dental Society in good standing.
- With OSH training
