As CBS Transportation Manager, the role will be accountable for supporting the EUROPE and AMESA Transport Mgmt Service Leaders in the execution of carrier mgmt., account mgmt./finance, inbound ops, imports, exports, and network ops processes across multiple teams and business units. Also role will be in charge of supporting Environmental, Health and Safety if it comes to tracking fleet safety. This position will report to the SC Snr Dir KBS CBS VBS Lead (LG02). Responsibilities include supporting delivery of full-service 3PL logistics to drive gross revenue and NOPBT for Pepsico including carrier mgmt., inbound ops, account management, network ops, brokerage, telematics, imports, and exports operations. This role will engage in regular consultation with the Business unit teams and other MBS leaders on the delivery of business services. TMS System, understanding of transportation, international commerce compliance, and operations knowledge is expected along with a strong ability to set day-day priorities for service leaders. Strong coordination and communication with BU partners to ensure delivery of optimization and efficiency gains.

- Ensure the Transportation services function continually optimizes staffing, schedules, and activities that enable timely and seamless operations.
- Quickly engage with business units to identify, interpret, and set mitigation plans in place to ensure sales deliveries to all customers, timely management of freight payments, and new business execution.
- Respond to marketplace demands through an in-depth understanding of transportation/brokerage practices and complex system technology.
- Initiate innovation and development of new analytics and business processes to improve service levels, support new business, and drive efficiency.
- Manages the import/exports process and ensures compliance with all required government laws and regulations.
- Develops and implement systems and policies to administer documentation processes required to import and export merchandise and materials.
- Identify areas for improvement and close efficiency gaps.
- § Qualifications / Requirements:§ Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Business, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Logistics or applicable degree required
§ 10+ years Operations, transportation, Import & export experience preferred
- Fluent in English (and preferable second languages French)
§ People leadership/management experience required +5§ Working knowledge of transportation and order life-cycle in a dynamic Supply Chain- Ability to positively influence teams outside of direct responsibility and across multiple business units
- Working knowledge of SAP, TMS - BY solutions
- Ability to influence leadership and operate in a matrix environment
- Capable of leading a remote workgroup and being managed by a remote manager
- Utilize technical/functional knowledge that creates opportunities and solves business problems
- Proficiency using PC-based applications such as Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and alternate meeting technology
