We are looking for a Sales Manager DACH.
As a Sales manager DACH you’re responsible to maximize the sustainable short and long term sales and profitability, through effective strategic key account management of selective retail and discount customers, in line with our Paulig strategy.
You’re also in charge to lead and manage projects and create a strong Paulig market approach, retail and sales culture.

What you will do:
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies in line with overall Paulig Strategy
  • Establish productive and professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts
  • Develop a strong understanding of the systems, strategies and underlying needs of key assigned customers
  • Negotiate and close agreements
  • Monitor and analyse performance metrics from a variety of data sources, share findings and make appropriate recommendations
  • Create and deliver selling stories integrating insights from market data, shopper and consumer research findings in close collaboration with Product and Category Management
  • Prepare & own sales forecasts
  • Proactively influence internal priorities and processes using a fact-based approach
  • Develop, maintain a strong network of relationships internally and externally to respond to customer needs.
  • Perform research and identify new potential customers and new market opportunities
  • Stay up-to-date with in-store and online fixtures, pricing movements and new product launches in the market

What we appreciate:
  • Preferably 5 years experience of retail private label
  • IT skills (AX, MS Office, Excel, CRM, other tools)
  • Good understanding of performance metrics from internal, retailer and continuous data sources (EPOS, panel)
  • Forecasting / Demand planning and future planning
  • Category growth mindset
  • Solid customer service attitude
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Strong communication and presentation skills – able to distil information into actionable insights and recommendations
  • Analytical skills with a problem-solving attitude
  • Availability to travel as needed
  • Fluent in English, good knowledge of German is an advantage
  • Team player, customer minded and result oriented
