What do I need to know?
We are looking for people who ooze fun and positivity to join our team of Clinkees who are already creating a welcoming vibe in ClinkNOORD Hostel, Amsterdam. The role is supported by the Front Office Manager and Assistant Manager. In the role of Hostel Team Member, you will be one of the main points of contact for our guests as they begin their stay with us before they go out and enjoy all the Amsterdam has to offer. In this role, you will have the power to create lasting positive memories for our guests, how amazing is that?
What will I be doing?
Some of your key responsibilities would be to:
Welcome our guests to the hostel by supporting them with check in/out- Help guests with any queries about things to do in Amsterdam and in the hostel
- Support the team with the café, reception desk, social spaces etc.
- Work night shift on rotation when scheduled
- Serve guests food & drinks from our Catalyst Café
- Have fun and drink lots of tea/coffee

You are someone who understands what needs to be done so our guests have a memorable experience while staying with us, who can put our guests needs first, has good people skills and who is not afraid to be brave or to be the best they can be. You can work in a fast-paced environment, use their initiative and work well under pressure and independently. You are fun, energetic, are open to new challenges and can seek solutions to our guest queries.
