As the Senior Systems Engineer C&D Media Networks you will be responsible for the evaluation and validation of highly available and cost effective Contribution and Distribution (C&D) solutions, ensuring that the C&D services are delivered with highest availability and complying with industry standards and best practices.

- Contribute to the design of contribution and distribution media solutions to deliver highly secured services with highest availability meeting the deadline and complying with industry standards and best practices.
- Contribute in optimizing global satellite C&D network to ensure efficiency by consolidating the services, implementing alternative solutions with lower cost and eliminating duplication of services.
- Contribute in optimizing the utilization of the leased capacities for best picture quality by using cutting edge technologies.
- Review/Prepare RFI, RFPs and carry out Technical Evaluations for renewing the current C&D services/solutions as well as establishing new services/solutions according to distribution and contribution requirements.
- Provide risk assessment during launch of new service/solution as well as migration of exiting services ensuring minimal downtime.
- Review of C&D contracts, SLAs and aids in the regulation and compliance of vendors and service providers to Al Jazeera best interest.
- Contributes to the development of innovative solutions using latest innovative technologies.
- Validate technical drawings of new and existing C&D services/solutions.
Key Requirements:
- Relevant Bachelor's Degree Minimum
- 5 years’ relevant experience
- ITIL certified Cost-Estimation and Service Costing skills Technical and Commercial Feasibility Study skills
