We are looking for a highly skilled Restaurant Manager with both restaurant and bar experience to assist in leading our team.
The successful applicant will be someone who is passionate about their work, is a natural leader and dedicated team player, who has demonstrated experience in a similar working environment and who is keen to adapt in these ever changing times.
Working at John St Cafe, you will be rewarded with excellent working conditions (including NO split shifts!) and a fun and dynamic environment.
The applicant must have the following attributes;
- outgoing and well presented
- have a love for hospitality and be passionate about their work
- have at least three years or more experience in a similar role
- be a natural leader as well as being a team player
- ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure
- be a great communicator
- be punctual and reliable
- be able to work quickly in a fast paced environment
- manage and lead the staff across multiple departments
- excellent time management
- supervise staff training to provide an outstanding customer experience
- ensure the highest possible standard of hygiene is maintained by all staff
- keen eye for presentation and attention to detail
- sound knowledge of labour costs and budgeting
- passion and sound knowledge of food, wine and cocktails
- strong leadership and motivational qualities
- hold a current RSA

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $60,000.00 – $70,000.00 per year
